Skógar museum
The Skógar museum is one of most popular tourist destination in the are, only 4 km east of Drangshlíð in Skógar area. The museum was founded in 1949 by Þórður Tómasson and is one of the best museums in Iceland.

Walking paths

Westman Islands
With the new harbour in Landeyjarhöfn, 30 km west of Drangshlíð, we can reccommend a day trip to Westman Islands from our house with the ferry Herjólfur. In Westman Islands you can for example see puffins.
